Both of your lights are working very well I like them a lot
Best light ever for the price !!!
Very good lights they work very well
Excellent light onlynissue is you have in the write up having veg/blm switch but it doesn't
Absolutely everything is great! Special thanks for the support of the staff during the solution of delivery problems.
I'll let you know more with the finished product
Was not happy with customer service the glasses that the light came with was not in the box emailed customer service they want to give me $10 I want the glasses still haven’t heard anything back
Plants are going absolutely nuts under these lamps. Far superior to my old blurple LED and even my old 400W HPS. I'm running 2 Pro 2000Ws side by side set to 50W each (for now) with 6 plants in a small 2 foot x 6 foot closet and it is just like sunshine in there. Built to last and I love the dimming feature that lets me tailor the intensity as needed.
After a week using bestva pro 2000. I can say that I'm super happy with this light. Impressed with the penetration. Plants love it. I will recommend this product it's good budget. Definitely I will buy again.
It was incredible, great design, easy installation, and the plants look great!
Got this beautiful light yesterday... Plug n play as easy as I did...plants seems to love it...It's bright. Build very solid and very fast shipping. Bought it 4/20...i think I did a good deal with it
The 2000 worked perfect just ordered a 4000. Awesome product!
It's the best led, thank you
greetings from Asturies
Love the light although my only issue was that it took close to a month to receive. I have bought Bestva lights before and they are great but from Amazon. I though going direct to bestva would somehow be better and save time and money. It doesn’t ship out of Cali like they say on website it came from China. Don’t know now if I’ll keep purchasing these lights but my girls in flower, veg, And now my aero setup has a p2000 and they love it. I just wish customer service was better it took them forever to even let me know the light was out of stock when on site it says ships in 24 hrs. I still give it 5 stars because I’m happy I got the light but they gotta work on there communication and honesty when it comes to when the item would ship or he available. They did offer me 50$ off the Bestva store as well so that was nice. Only complaint was that it took a month from time of purchase to showing up at my door step. Nor a fan of that considering I had ladies waiting for that light.
Would recommend this light to anyone looking to cultivate at home. Buying and shipping was a breeze and the actual light met or exceeded all my expectations.
The light is even brighter than I expected and meets or surpasses all of my expectations. I would recommend this light to anyone looking to get into cultivating.
find the collection to be comparable with units 5 times as expensive and even of better quality
Very Sturdy will made with the latest Samsung Chips LM301B & Dimmable MeanWell Driver... absolutely a great product. I recommend the 2000 & 4000s just don't put they to close... they are powerful.
After buying 5 of the fake blurple lights (3 Kingled and. 2 Phlizon), I love everything about this 2000.
My plants are in veg, but after only a week, the plants are growing like they are outdoors. This light is more sun like than the sun...lol!
Great engineering and bullet proof quality everywhere you look. I am going to buy many more!!!
I bought the 2000w to replace a 400w HID after the ballast failed in the last week of the veg cycle. I am really impressed with this unit. I grew five plants (GSC and Miss USA) and in comparison the previous grow of the same the buds were larger and harder. The plants absolutely loved the light. I highly recommend.......

This light is a 10 out of 10 I've had hid lighting this way better than hid in my opinon. And I had or I have a kind led xl750 k5 series. Way better than that light at less than half the cost. This light will b my go to lighting from now on I love theese lights.
you can build this yourself a quite a bit cheeper with the same components but if you just want to buy one plug and play i highly recommend this its made with the best leds and driver you can get and it seems to be well built
What can I say about this light that isn't fabulous? I swear all of my plants grew at inch to an inch and a half every 24 hours after I purchase this light!!
use this light for veg it works great and it has quality components for the price it's hard to beat for veg haven't tried to flower yet will update when I do .this is a nice light for people getting it to growing and price is very reasonable. The build is pretty good too .I heard people say it was flimsy but the one I got is pretty sturdy I was surprised.
This is an amazing light, very very bright, and an excellent design. Highly efficient, I recommend this to anyone looking to grow your own plants. This is by far the best LED I've ever owned or seen. You will not be disappointed. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
The 2000 runs significantly cooler than my smaller Mars ts-1000 and it's basically twice the light.
So far this seems like an excellent purchase.
Love this light. So much I ordered another one to be sure my 4x4 tent will be full corner to corner. No idea about par readings. I have had the light anywhere from 18" to 30" from my first grow as I'm not sure where to put it but everything is growing as it should. I should have a crop in a few more weeks
Never seen one reach like this before. She loves it! 8 hours after putting the 2000 on her. Loving it
It's gotta get a broader stance. It the 2000 is only coverage for 1 flowering plant
Delivery was quick. Product packaging is beyond good. Outside of one box was damaged. Inside nothing. As far as product goes, I bought 1 2000 grew a strain i've grown many times and the yield increased easily 50%. Canopy penetration was excellent. So I bought 2 more

I am using this light to vegetate late stage flower clones and it is doin a superb job at it! Buying a third light to expand because of quality.
I bought a pair of these to use on my table for my basement succulent garden. I have a 5' x 6' setup with the two lights and they work perfectly to cover the entire area. The blushing on the plants is amazing and I did not see the same coloring with my previous "burple" lights.
This light comes packaged quite well. Plug and play, it’s that simple. I have five of these in a 10x10 room. I was excited to see that the new lights now have two channels and a dimmer knob for easy control of brightness. They are very bright so wear your sunglasses when working in your tent/room. I went from MH/HPS 400watts to 300watt blurples and now 2000, and I’m not looking back. Great yield producer
This is not the light I ordered. This the older version, which has a design flaw. It does have a dimmer switch but you to disassemble the Samsung driver because it underneath it and it doesn't have a knob it takes a screwdriver inserted into a slot.....so make you order newest version that is redesigned....plus it had taxes or fees that made it 8 dollars more than newest version...
rice seemed a little high at first but went ahead and pulled the trigger and I must say it was worth every penny. once you set it up you will see your plants respond very quickly they absolutely love this light! Using this to replace a blurple with higher specs and it already outperforms! Tip: It does get a little hot but nothing a small oscillating fan can't handle
Amazing light very bright
This light is great.in my opinion this is the best light for the money. My plants love this light so much more than the Blurple lights I had before.the yields are way better than with the blurple also. I liked this light so much this is my second one I have purchase. From now on I probably won’t even look elsewhere. Thank you spider farmer for the amazing light at a low price.
I'm more than satisfied with this Iight. Growing very large tomatoes. So I just purchased and set up my second 2000here is my post from the first purchase. It still rings true.
Better than expected. Product arrived quickly and was up and running in minutes. I thought it was going to be to hot in my 24 x 48 x 60 tent but not the case at all.
I would buy this product again. If your still playing with blurple lights and enjoying your out comes than the 2000 will blow your mind.
Man this thing is amazing. Started some seedlings and placed my strawberries and tomatoes under and they're stretching to reach. Really excited to stretch out the grow season
Amazing grow light . Replaced my CLW solar storm 440 with 2 of these . My light output is now 3.5 more . Did my homework first , no regrets . Powerful leds , lightweight , nice protective layer over leds and simple but effective design . Why spend 1k on hype , just buy 3-4 of these and you’ll be glad you did . More lumens , less power consumption = no brainer .
So far I’m impressed. Bright, not too hot, great coverage for an LED. My only complaint is that the dimmer box isn’t centered on the unit like the ballast is, so it makes the light lean to that side a little. It would be nice to be able to daisy chain the power together. The daisy chain dimming is a nice feature.
Found boards on china web site half price off this one can even have your own brand name printed on them
I replaced one of the older style blurple lights with the 2000 in my 3x3 tent. After I hung it up I was absolutely blown away by how bright it is. I currently run an optic 4 in my other 5x5 tent but I think I will be replacing it with a spider farmer. Thanks
Very well built product and is exactly as described. Save your money on other cheap imitations because in the end you get what you pay for and this light will make you do nothing but smile when you see how happy your ladies look under it.
I started growing strawberry plants from seed during quarantine. Something to keep me sane. I am on track to push these first year plants to 2nd year readiness by spring. They love the light!
Stays cool! This was my number one concern, since I don't really want to invest in a fan if I don't need it. Even at 100% this thing doesn't overheat my little tent. I used a cheaper light before these that heated my tent up over 90°F
Picture is worth a thousand words 1st before 2000 2nd 6 days after hanging.... Same flower
I seen that came out with a new light so I watched a few videos on the 2000. I liked what I seen so I ordered 2 of them to add to my garden! I can say this the 2000 is a excellent light System I love the dimming feature!!!
I love how you can control both lights with one switch!!! My garden just exploded with growth using 2000!!! Love it love it love it!!!!!!
Great grow light for the price. They have updated the design to feature an external dimmer and power switch that makes the product that much easier to use. More than enough light for my 2x4 grow tent and only raises the temperature 2 degrees F from external when on. Would recommend to anyone looking for a trusted LED grow light for a fair price.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video.
Absolutely love this light ! I was worried about temps rising but I only seen about a degree or 2 in fluctuations that I was able to adjust for. Covers the complete tent grow area in this 3x5. Love love love
Customer service was exceptional as well !
4.0 out of 5 stars Next best thing to HLG!
Have a previous review that I was not able to edit to 4 star. Had an issue with delivery dates but item arrived and is in excellent condition. These lights under perform compared to HLG bit not by much. They are just as efficient though. Am excited to explore products here locally in Michigand with my Veteran community and the new Cannabis market. Would be nice to partner and exploit Northern Michigans boom market in horticulture!

If you are sure techy and super cheap at the same time, just pony up the extra money and get the biggest one you can afford and call it a day, you wont need any more lights, this 2000 is state of the art, world class hardware that replicates the sun rather good
This light is amazing! I was a little hesitant about spending $300 on a light I have never heard of. After alot of research on lights in my budget this was my final decision and i couldn't be happier. Big upgrade from my blurple leds and after less than 1 week my plants have never looked better! So my advice to you is that if you are having a hard time deciding on a new light go with YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I am absolutely buying another s2000
My lights (including this one) are performing excellently. This company is nailing it! My hat is off to any company that can consistently bring up-to-date technology at a good price point to the masses. Keep up the great work
I don't wanna call it too soon, but these lights have my plants BOOMING, compared to my older blue/purple/red etc lights this replaced. I haven't done anything differently besides adding this light.
I'll update this post after a few more flowering cycles.
I’ve used 2 ViparSpectrum 600 for my veggies and was looking to upgrade. I did my research on the type of chip to the efficiency of power consumption and you won’t find anything better unless you get a HLG 550. Which I’m now saving to upgrade to a 4000 to see the the differences. 1 2000 240w beats 2 ViparSpectrum600 520w hands down. Good Job
OVE this light!!! I swear it has doubled my harvest! Was using those burple lights and doing OK. Upgraded to these mid flower and the plants took off and never looked back!
Bonus is I can actually "see" what the plants really look like instead of all the burple light!
I aleady had the 1000 and was super impressed with it, but my needs changed and I needed a little more coverage so I stepped up to the 2000. These are such great lights for the price! Amazing build quality, PAR output, energy efficiency and spectrum and the plants LOVE them! Also, I love that they recently added the external dimmer and the ability to daisy chain them too, this was not the case last year when I bought my first light, they just added those features. Very happy with these lights.
I replaced a failing King LED 2000 with this. This light is brighter, way smaller footprint and way less heat, better spectrum. My plants exploded a couple days after installing - which is also very easy because of the form factor. Amazing. I JUST ordered a second one. You will not be disappointed. I’m very pleased.
The 2000 is a major advancement in indoor growing. Three major themes stand out: Intense light (and not that weird purple hue you see in earlier LED lights); little if any heat, unlike the high pressure sodium lamps I have been using; and sharply curtailed power consumption (half the power use of a HPS light of comparable output. I am just finishing my trial run, my first crop with this light, and the results are very encouraging. I have never grown indoors in the summer, due to the heat, but the 2000 made this possible. Very good yield! I would recommend this light.
I had some etiolation with most of my columnar cacti under a bunch of different light setups. Switched to 2000, and now a month later getting super fat growth on everything.
Slim aluminum body acts as a heatsink, so it gets a little warm. Perfect for heating my germination trays on the shelf above.
Really seems like a nice light! Dimmed to 205w out of the box, 240w capability! Runs cool and is just as bright as my HLG boards! I really like the customized spectrum as well! Rather than just 3000, 3500, or 4000k, your average spectrums, you get half 3000k and half 5000k with an additional 660nm and 750nm of red!
I’ve only had the light for a day. I like the light itself, and might buy another. I just thought it would be brighter?
Outer packaging was poor, I thought. Just a couple crumples of paper in a too-large box. Dented corner on the outer box but no damage. The product box was cleverly designed to protect the light.
I bought one 2000 to fill out my 5x5 along with 2 other lights. I ended up buying a par meter and tested all my lights. The other "blurple" leds performed so much worse than this I pulled both of them down and bought 2 more sf-2000s. The spider farmer lights are more expensive than the cheap crap out there, but I wish I would have bit the bullet and got spider farmer right out of the gate.
Instead of going cheap then wasting a grow cycle before scraping the cheap garbage and buying more of these.
I'm glad I purchased the 2000. It's great light that's dimmable and still put out great light and by dimming it which helped control tent temperature during the hot time of the year. I recommend it or you could step up to the 4000 for more light cover.
have had these up for a month now, I have accidentally hit them full force with a hose, have left water sitting on top of them. I am not recommending you do this to yours, but they are so far unphased by anything I have done to them
works great in my 4x8
I really didn't want to buy an expensive grow light because I didn't think there would be much to it but man was I wrong. My plants were taking forever to grow and after I swapped out the light they immediately perked up. It's been a week and while they're still not huge they've at least doubled if not tripped in size. If you have one of those red blue lights just do yourself a favor and upgrade already.
've had such good results with my 2000, I had to buy another one, even though they're kinda pricey. These lights are made very well, very simple, no fan necessary, they run cool. The light seems like very natural white light, like the sun. I can justify buying another because with one 2000 I replaced 3 other lights, two 300 watt lights and a 450 watt. And increased my yield. I love it
Fills 2x4 tent perfectly. Slight bow in the middle of the board where the driver sits but i don’t think it will be a problem. Heat is not bad at all with an exhaust fan. Definitely glad I picked this light over the other 2x4 options. 4 stars for the bow but only cause I couldn’t give 4-1/2.
alue great light
Great light. Very solid build. Does it bow in the middle like some reviews mention? Yes slightly. Does it indicate that its not well built? No. This light is bright and my plants love it. Doesnt produce a ton of heat like my cobs i was using. Overall its a great lihht that is solid built very waterproof and just a great light
I chose bestva over a ton of alternatives. Yes, it uses the older Samsung chips but the difference between the B chips and the newer H chips is minimal. Solidly built light and it now comes with a very handy dimmer. No need to remove the power supply to dim the light, they've added an on/off switch and a dimmer. Nice!
I burnt the tips of my plants at full strength at 40". I turned it down 4 notches to 1200 W, and my plants are much happier at the same distance. We'll see if I can maintain the power at the "reach" phase, but the dimmer is a great addition. Lightweight. Like, really lightweight. Comes with hanging mechanisms.
My fellow growers, I have tried out just about every LED light out there, also the always reliable MH/HPS setups. I have been using this Pro 2000 for just a few weeks now, I can say that within that time my girls have grown faster than I’ve imagined!! (Good genetics also lol) I would recommend these to anyone, will submit pictures soon. Happy N Healthy Growing...
David E. Williams
Great lights. They don't get very hot. Super light weight. Produce great buds. 100% recommend!
This is our first grow and our first dealing with grow lights they were highly reviewed we bought it recommended from different videos we saw about it. So far we planted 5 seeds. This is day number 3 and we have Sprouts coming up on 4 of five plants hopefully the 5th will Sprout tomorrow so far so pleased
I bought the PRO 2000 back in May and just finished my first grow. I have to say that I am very happy with my purchase. My only complaint is they came out with the new model that actually has a dimmer switch on the ballast like right after I bought mine. I had to remove the 4 screws and turn the ballast on it's side to be able to get to the small dimmer screws on the underside of the ballast. I just leave it on it's side instead of screwing it and unscrewing it every time I need to adjust the power. My next purchase will be the SF4000 and I'll make sure it's the newer ballast.
I was able to pull over 1 gram per watt with this light and I didn't even turn it up to full power. I finished flower at about 80% power. I definitely recommend Spider Farmer especially the upgraded version with the ballast switch.
Also, just my advice. If you have the versions with the two dimmer screws under the ballast, leave the one that says "Vo ADJ" turned all the way up and use the one that says "Io ADJ" to raise and lower the intensity of the light. Like I said, just my advice if you're not sure what to do.
In my opinion the best full spectrum light on the market for its price . To get the same growth out of plants you’d have to spend 3-5 hundred more dollars for a light with the same spectrum same par value and same watts drawn from the wall . So why not save your money for something else you need . This light has done for me what I never dreamed I’d see a plant do and that’s grow inches every day . The most phenomenal light I’ve ever owned and I own every kind from blurple to hps and this one by far kicks their tail !
I have this model and the smaller one in a tent, in the basement. There are ~7 tomato plants and ~4 pepper ones in there. Within ~3 weeks, all the plants have grown about 6" in height. Had to move some of them to prevent burn. I hang out in the tent now sometimes... Sad
Included mounting hardware measuring tape reusable nameplate stakes happy so far see no reason that should change. Impressed positively after 4 wks daily use (with timer & watt meter). Excellent packaging, quality, spectrum, size, weight, heat: 5 of 5
urchased the HLG quantum boards originally, Great light, Very High price, and hated how much heat they created, and then I found these. I must say that these lights are actually much better with heat dissipation, and my plants are absolutely loving them. When you are investing so much money in your growing system you need to get the best bang for your buck, and with the BESTVA grow lights, we've found the best value for our money and growing needs. Will be purchasing more of these lights as we expand our operation.
am using this to grow medicine for my PTSD. This is the 3rd grow light I have purchased. It is so much better than anything I have seen so far. For the beginner, buy this product. Light makes your plants grow. It may seem expensive, but the returns will far outweigh the cost. Thanks Spider Farmer! This is an awesome light! I will be purchasing another soon
This is my first purchase of what I would call a "heavy duty" grow light. And I love it. To be transparent, it's not cheap. But from my personal experience over just a few short weeks, it does the job and does the job well. It is bright and does not get too hot. I appreciate the dimming capability. I was seeing some browning of leaves on a couple of heads of Romaine lettuce so instead of raising the light, I simply turned down the intensity... and it seemed to do the trick. As my hydroponic endeavors increase, I will likely again be in the market for another grow light and this one is high on my list as a 2nd purchase. I just wish it were less expensive.
This image shows it at 50%. It is easy to adjust the power, though I wish it had an on/off switch. Super high quality materials, excellent packaging, easy to install. I am using it for a range of house plants (still to be moved in from my deck) and am now considering buying the smaller size for the upper shelf in my living room.
Love this light!! Had 2 mars hydro 1000w on plant in flower for 4 weeks plant seemed to plateau. Added this 2000w BESTVA in combo the 2-1000w Mars lights and let me tell you the plant reacted exceptional it has taken off. This is water proof, leds are sealed. Power input tight and high quality. The Meanwell driver is working properly. Note this is a very very bright light after installing had to start wearing sunglasses in room.
Very nice lights, very bright and very well built. Awesome customer service as well. If your looking to move away from traditional HPS or others, then you need to try these lights !!!
I hate to make this review so short but there isn't much to say. It's excellent. It's worth every penny, bright, beautiful and you can connect several to dim (not power) them all at the same rate. It's ideal for indoor growing for any plants. Who needs the sun when you can have a spider farmer light?
This light is extremely bright, been on for 6hrs and took surface temperature and it was at 75, and the driver was 120, and the temp in the tent was 75. So no heat issues so far. Only time will tell if the plants like it,but I think they will.
Edited* I just got a replacement and it is the new model. worked quickly to fix the situation and gave me 10% off for the trouble. Definitely would recommend.
I just received my light and I was very disappointed that it was not the new model as advertised with the dimmable switch and ability to daisy chain 2 together. I will probably keep it because I need it but still pretty disappointed. Might want to order through the company website if these are features you're interested in
My first time growing, they seem to be working good so far. I have 3 PCS 2000 in a 5'x5'. I have 2 older style with the dimmer under the driver and 1 newer upgraded version with external dimmer. I used 2 for veg then added a third for flowering. I hope they keep the price low as they can because I'm gonna need some more of these in the future.
My first grow light and I am very impressed. Have it in a 2x4 grow box and my girls love it so far. So much light I raised it a lot since the plants were growing very bushy and not very high due to the amount of light! Very impressed. Hope it lasts a long time. No noise and does not put off much heat at all. I have a fan blowing on top of it which almost eliminates all heat. BUY IT
This is my fourth grow light. It's also my favorite. I love that there are no noisy cooling fans. I converted two bedrooms into winter grow rooms. This light is being used for tomato, and hot pepper seedlings. They are thick, and healthy 20 inches from the light. That gives me more space for more plants. The other room is being used to over winter hydroponic roses, peppers, and basil. They work good, but I can hear those fans kick on at 6 every morning.
Albo Pepper gives the best, and most informative review for this light. Listen to what he says. I have also started wearing green welders glasses while working around this light. It's that bright.
Hello, after doing a fair amount of research and reading on what is the necessary spectrum for indoor growing, I decided on2k LED. I'm impressed with veg growth and in week 2 of flower currently. I use LST and have 25 or more bud sites filling in nicely on each plant and getting a inch growth per day. My light meter readings are consistent covering a 3 x 4 area. I have 2, 1k LED philizon lights as well in another tent and I have to say the only reason I purchased them was for the dimmer knob..they are not as bright, but have a different led color count..
I really like my LED very much and would recommend it.
Now the new version has a dimmer knob!!
I'll be purchasing the new, dimmable LED grow light as well!!
This light is quite bright for a 202W LED light. I’m coming from 360W COB and it was super bright but drew 160W more and produced more heat. Unless you touch the quantum board directly, it is very minimal overall in the tent. I am very happy with this light.
I gave up my 600w HPS for this(x2).
The light seems to sag a bit in the middle. I dont know whether thats good or bad though. Perhaps it helps spread the light. ?
I used a LUX meter to test the brightness. At 6" distance its 100,000 lux. At 30 inches its 20,000 lux. It may have a better foot print than advertized. In the bottom corners of the tent, am reading 18,000.
I had the young plants at 24" distance (about 25,000 lux) but it was too much light for some of them as they were sprouted under 8k lux from flourescent tubes. It was a big jump going from 8k to 25k.
I would probably go 36" next time and see how it goes. :)
his is bar far the best light I have ever used personally. I like so much about it. The LEDs and drivers of course. But the way it is built. No fans. It is easy to deal with and hang. The plants friggin love this thing. I have never been so happy with a purchase for the coin. I open the box sometimes and I find myself admiring the light instead of the plants lol. So well made. Bright as can be. It will be hard for me to buy another light other than Spider Farmer from this point on. Fills out my 2x4 space just right.
I grow herbs and vegetables indoors for cooking; within a week of putting this thing up, my garden went into overdrive! The lights are bright and indeed true to real sunlight (complete with IR and UV -- I can *feel* the heat from the IR if I put my hands underneath!)
Seriously, this thing is so bright that you'll see spots if you look directly at the lights! WEAR SUNGLASSES IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT WHEN LIT!
2 of these in a 4X4 or 5X5 tent is awesome for your Tomatoes , veggies or whatever... My plants LOVE these lights. Admittedly I was running a year old high pressure sodium bulb that had lost some spectrum with blurple LED's. My fruits/flowers looked anemic. In just about a weeks time it is obvious these lights are EXACTLY what they needed. The bounce back is undeniable. I bought more for my vegetative room, and those plants went from sad to happy instantly. Don't waste your time with those blurple and pink tinted LED lights. They work, but barely. My only gripe is these lights are dimmable, and don't come turned all the way up. It wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't a little trouble to adjust. The controls are on the bottom side of the power supply, and are only turned up to 2/3 or 3/4. I recommend you leave a factory settings for the vegetative room, and turn it all the way up for flowering, but that is just me. This should be at least be addressed in the manual. Overall not a big deal. My plants have no complaints. So happy with this purchase. Thank you 5 Stars!
Our kitchen island garden is a year-round food forest thanks to our 2000 light. We grow lettuces, basil, cilantro, rosemary, microgreens, etc, and easily add them to our meals. (We even have a happy honeydew melon plant that is the baby of a melon we ate last summer. If it's still growing when warm weather arrives, we'll move it to our outdoor garden so it can spread out.)
We added a hanging 6 inch high cardboard box (four sides, no top or bottom) as a perimeter visor around the light to protect our eyes and keep the light on the plants, and we set a timer for 16 hours. We love how sunny, fragrant, and productive our kitchen garden is even in the middle of a cold, northern winter. Thanks
This thing blows any other LED under 300 dollars out of the water! It uses Samsung LEDs and a Meanwell driver, which are both top of the line. Gets hot to the touch but not too hot to burn anything around it. Still attempting to find the "sweet spot" with this light, although the manufacturers reccomendations could be correct (I just don't want to burn my babies!). Very efficient, only costing me about 15 dollars a month to run. Covers my 3x3 grow tent perfectly!
Just received it today, so it's really much too soon to know how to rate it. However, if I learn bad news, I'll be sure to come back and change my review.
It appears to be just as described. It was well packed in an intelligently designed shipping container that was easy to open. It's very nice that it comes with the clips and hangers to set it up. If you want it to stay level, you have to organize the power cord so that it doesn't pull on the light. I did this by using a twisty to attach a little of the slack from the power cord to one of the hanger cables.
It is very, very quiet. The white light is a pleasant shade of light, so it makes it nice to be in the same room with it, especially in the winter. (I'm using it without a reflective tent.)
This light is being used in a 3x3x6 grow tent and the tomatoes are loving it. It doesnt generate much heat so no need for extra cooling. It covers the area fairly well. Its also not heavy so using ratchet ropes to hang it and adjust it work great. The new style with the adjustments right on the driver housing make it very easy to use. Its plenty bright and only uses a few hundred watts. Im very happy with this light so far. Time will tell if it lasts but I expect it to. It ahs genuine Samsung LEDs and a quality driver. I know that some people prefer the HLG brand but I honestly dont see you'd pay more when this light gets the job done.
